Is there a charge for consultation?
MAYBE. There is not always a clear distinction between what is considered cosmetic (self pay) and reconstructive (insurance pay) surgery. During the course of the consultation it will become evident one way or another. If your problem is clearly cosmetic there MAY be no charge* to you, however, if your concerns fall on the reconstructive or medical side, your insurance will be charged and co-pays and deductibles will apply.
*Butt augmentation consultations will always require a consultation fee.
What will happen at the consultation?
Dr. Popp will discuss your wishes and evaluate your expectations for the procedure about which you are inquiring. Often there are both surgical and non-surgical options you may want to consider before making a decision, and those will be presented for consideration. This is also your opportunity to view before and after photos, discuss recovery time frames and review finance options.
How soon can I get in for a consultation or surgery?
Normally, a consultation or a procedure can be scheduled within a two to four week timeframe.
Where will my surgery take place and will I have to stay overnight?
Dr. Popp’s office complex includes a certified surgical suite where all surgeries take place. If your procedure requires general anesthesia, a certified anesthesiologist or anesthetist will administer it and remains on site for the procedure. There are no overnight stays required.
