Amanda Arians, Clinical Surgical Coordinator, has a Bachelor’s in Nursing, is ACLS and CPR Certified and has been with Dr. Popp for 10 years.
“I work with an amazing team here. We are like a close-knit family and try to create the best possible outcome from each patient,” said Amanda.
“I do anything from assisting with office procedures and surgeries to making patient phone calls and guiding patients through the pre and post-op parts of surgeries,” Amanda explained.
A Natural Fit
Amanda was working for a dermatology surgery center before she arrived at Dr. Popp’s office. She said they shared a few mutual patients and when she found out Dr. Popp’s nurse at the time had decided not to return to work after maternity leave, Amanda stopped by Dr. Popp’s office at lunch time, spoke with him and was hired on the spot.
For her part, Amanda loves seeing patients more self-confident after procedures, looking and feeling better.
She said patients love Dr. Popp’s straightforward approach and appreciate his honesty.
A Great Team
“He’s very passionate about his work and extremely honest. He wants to do whatever will benefit the patient the most, not what will make him the most money,” said Amanda.
When she’s assisting with procedures, Amanda likes to ask patients questions about their families or tell them a joke to keep their minds off their procedures. She said it helps allay their anxiety.
“Ultimately, I told Dr. Popp I am with him till the end. He’s just a great boss,” Amanda said.
